Not meaning to hijack the thread but if you are considering doing an exchange for a 4x4, and depending on what type you are after, i may be tempted to offer my Range Rover P38 4.0 V8 with an LPG conversion.
I've not had it long but i'm already beginning to regret the thought of having to sell my T4.
I love Ranges but there is something magical about T4's that is making me think about moving back to them.

The only thing i need to do to the Range is get it serviced, i don't think the engine oil is of the best quality, and get the gas serviced as it cuts out under load when on gas.
Ticks over fine but i'd rather get it checked out fully first before selling or part ex'ing.

Very tempting but I'm after something that's cheap to run and maintain preferably jap

And yes I will probably regret selling or swapping my T4 but I have been caught out with bad weather to many times now so my only option is 4x4 but with decent ground clearance or I'd be looking for a v70r

I know what you mean.
I'm off to Wales tomorrow in the Range as my V40 is off the road at the moment.
Luckily, I managed to get the gas working yesterday and it runs fine.
Its a bit temperamental at junctions but when rolling along, or driving with a bit of venom, it runs fine.

Its going in to have an LPG service on Tuesday as the technician said that it may just need to be cleaned out.
More on that in the week though.

If your interested then let me know.
I can put some photos up for you if you want too.

Ooh!
I forgot to add, 3 quarters of a tank of LPG cost me £21.65.

Done over 300 miles on almost one and 3 quarter tanks of gas.
The fill up cost £37.40 (forecourt prices for gas being 71.9 per litre. 10p per litre more than the local suppliers) and its on the red as of tonight after the trip back from north Wales and a few town journey's.

I would say that if i were to fill the gas tank up now, and drive as we would do normally, that tank would easily last a week or more.
In fact, so far, i can say that i am spending the same amount of money on gas for the Range as i am/would be on my T4.

Still, its not a T4 though.

All three cars have there good and bad points at the end of the day it's whatever suits your needs best I wouldn't mind owning a scooby or an evo would have to be an evo 7 though

If you were not quite so far away... I would be very tempted! I miss my v40...small turbo estates are a great thing.
