Default Volvo 760 electric seat

I’m having trouble with the electric controls on my drivers seat forward and backwards works fine but the back bit of seat does nothing and the base will only go down,am I right in thinkng it could be the solders on the back of the circuit board or can anyone give me any other tips ?

Could be poor solder joints, worth a look but more likely the switches are suffering lack of exercise and are dirty. Get yourself some switch/contact cleaner preferably one with lube in it, squirt in round the edges the switches and let it soak for a few minutes. Then exerceise each switch fairly vigorously, give it a few minutes and then switch the ignition on and try them again.
