V40: Remapping V40 T

Has anyone had a RICA remap on a V40T. What do you think of it? Is it worth it? I've just bought one and would like to "pep it up" a bit. Obviously I don't want to harm the engine but it could do with a little more "zizz". Any other ideas for improving performance?

What car is it? T4 or 2.0LPT? And what year? Depends on what your after and if your going to be doing any supporting mods (exhaust etc). RICA is quite an aggressive map (as seems to be the consensus) and is a generic off the shelf. If you've just got the car, what nick is it in and has it had a service/stage 0 tuneup? If not, I'd do that/get it done and see what health the car is in mechanically. Stick a remap on an engine that ain't healthy and it's quite likely to go bang as it will run higher than stock boost.
