S70R matts

Just purchased a 1998 S70R and im well happy with the car but i noticed that allthough the car has volvo matts they are not the volvo R matts so i decided to visit my local volvo dealer to price a set but have been told that they do not make such matts, Now im sure that i seen some on ebay few months ago for sale with the R emblem on them.

can someone tell me if they were custom made or volvo do actually make them and if so does anybody know what price they are,

Hiya

Don't know what dealer you went to see but.......I would suggest that they don't know their subject properly!!

I have been to my dealer (Hapstead, Horsham) and I have been through the parts and accessories catelogue with them and the "R Logo" mats do most certainly exist. Be prepared for a bill of approx £75.00 for the set!

You could also try Nordic Car in Shepperton who stock or can get most Volvo parts and give 20% discount to VOC members..

The other source for non-Volvo mats is Autostyle Unique. I tried them yesterday for a set of mats for my T5, but they don't do a 'T5' emblem, only 'T5R', which unfortunately, my car isn't!!! They do a variety of colours and different levels of mats (cheaper than Volvo).

Try them.
