Troll-tastic...LOL Well done Al but who is the real troll?

O that would be you..You claimed that this 16t came off an S60 however as most people will know that all the ME7 engines came with an angle flange exhaust housing, yours does not.

It is also common knowledge that the actuator from any ME7 is also different to the pre ME7 turbo "yours" The simple fact that your breaker kindly "Red dotted" your turbo (actuator bolts) would indicate again that your turbo is a pre ME7 turbo.

I would also like to question why would you have all this work carried "at not much cost" would you choice to use "again" a pre ME7 manifold?

Talking about power graphs...I cant seem to remember you posting any of your graphs from when you visited Rica NL..more so as to why you decided to break your T4 weeks after your custom Rica tune????

You're so ill-informed, it's actually comical.

The turbo came from an S60. The exhaust housing was swapped so it would fit on the T4 engine. So technically, I should have said "all of the turbo except the exhaust housing came from an S60", but I didn't think about it at the time. That includes the actuator, by the way (though I did run a Forge one for a while from recollection). What on earth has the red paint got to do with anything, other than to indicate it came from a breaker?

Would I choose a pre-ME7 manifold again? Not sure. I think the post-ME7 one would be ultimately better, but then it's a cost/benefit debate that I haven't fully thought through, and doubt I will as I no longer have the car.

And HELLO... I DID post my power graph from my trip to RICA, on the same day as I returned, on this and several other forums. And then we all had a discussion about it.

I mean, where are you getting this stuff from??? Not the the real world, that's for sure.

EDIT --> I didn't post my trip report from RICA on the VOC... thought I did, but I can't find it. I can just see it on VPCUK so I must have imagined posting it up here. It's mainly the same people on every Forum anyway

ps. if you don't want it, don't buy it... do you even have a T4? It doesn't seem so from your depth of knowledge.

Your not helping yourself are you Al

Before the angle there was the straight and before that there was the comical. You are trying to sell a pre ME7 turbo that has the straight exhaust housing.

Ask yourself why do breakers mark there products...Its so they know whether there products have been altered with i.e the "Red dots" on the bolts of you actuator indicates that your turbo still has its original actuator i.e the wrong actuator which came with the ME7 turbo..

As for asking £300 for a cracked manifold that is badly welded and a turbo with unknown mileage would indicate that it is yourself who does not live in the real world Al..

Well, OK. Mainly because I don't like being made to look like a liar.

I will restate since you seem not to be hearing:
  • The turbo came from an S60 and had had the exhaust housing changed... that is why it is a straight one. If we had left the angled one, it would have been hard to make it fit the downpipe. If a prospective buyer really cares, I can probably find the paperwork for the thing.

If you honestly think I am lying about that, then all I can say is that you don't know me very well. I've been around on the VOC long enough.

Also, if you can tell me how the welding is bad, how the red dots tell you that the turbo is from a non-ME7 car, or anything else helpful, then I would be all ears. Otherwise, I think we're done here.
