Default heater temp

morning guys this morning on the way to work the heater temp would not TURN DOWN was blowing very hot tried with air con on and off but still was blowing hot any ideas?

Is it duel climate and blowing hot on one side?

Put both fans on hot maximum temperature. Leave it for a few minutes then turn it down to the lowest temperature.


I had this once and the temperature sensor needed re-calibrating, IIRC, this was the way to do it. I may be wrong though.....

Try as advised above, plus just double check the state of your expansion tank and coolant level. My heater went haywire when I had cracked exp tank and air bubbles in the system.

When one of my previous S40s did this, I just turned it off and left it overnight, was working properly again the next morning and the problem never reoccurred.

problem solved turned engine of left her for 5 mins and shes back to normal thanks for the help
