480es 88 ICV seems to work
Cleaned my valve out and fixed the wires, the car is still hunting as the valve opens to full. I swapped the wires and it closed so it seems to be working. I then adjusted the potentiometer to as low as it would go, the hunting stopped but the revs were high at 1800.
Any ideas guys cheers jace |

have you let it warm up, it should stop high revving after about a quarter of the way up on the temp needle

what good music deserves is full deep bass to give it warmth. the stock volvo sub works....just at high volumes Drum n Bass and dubstep |

yes warm or cold the revs are high. started it today revs were lower at between 1200 and 1500 on tickover.
just a thought it overheated before the hunting started, no damage to the engine though as it was just warming up standing still. I caught it as it started boiling up. a rubber strip was stuck in the fan. any help is a help jace |

Since you mention it overheated, perhaps the coolant temp sensor has given up the ghost? The one for the ECU, not the one for the Info Centre, that is.
Just a thought David |
