Has anyone have experience with Bluetooth code readers? Are they any good? And can they harm car in any way?

I have an ELM327 Bluetooth code reader and - using an Android tablet and the free 'Car Scanner' app - it works great on my V60. It'll do more than simply read engine diagnostic trouble codes, it will also allow a large range of sensor values to be displayed and graphed, as well as ECU calculated values (such as DPF loading and engine oil level).

Also worked fine on my Honda Accord and also my wife's Toyota MR2 (although plugging it in does result in the ABS warning light coming on).
