Default Rear window washing fluid problem

Hi all

i am new to volvo and new to forum. so if it is on wrong sub forum, pleas excuse me.

I purchased a used V60 2021 with 16k km on clock. Car is more or less new.
and must say i love it.

But have a little problem. Rear window washing fluid does not work. I hear pump running, but maybe only a drop of fluid comes out.
any pointer would be appreciated where to look.

thanks for your input.

On my XC60 it is always caused by a white chalk like substance blocking the non return valve for the rear wiper. This is behind a cover at top of the tailgate and the valve can be disconnected and the unit flushed through. Would probably go back to a dealer if near , but not hard to fix.

Thank you. could be, because i saw some white stuff on glass after first use.
any pictures how to remove the panel. if it is so easy fix, i would prefer to do it on my own.

I used to have the white residue all over the bonnet and rear wiper whenever i used them after the liquid had dried. The car was Pine Grey so the white marks really stood out. Never got to a point where it was blocked though. I used to use the standard £2 washer fluid you get from supermarkets. I had used it in all of my previous cars with no issues but the XC60 didn't seem to like it. I now use Halfords ready mixed stuff (I like the cherry smell!) and haven't had a problem since.

Assuming the design is generally the same as the V90 it's easy. A suitable tool slipped between the panel and surround and just GENTLY lever up. the first clip should just pop out after which it's plain sailing. I've removed a number of panels on my V90 s and have been impressed with how robust the panels and clips are. Having said that I could see quality differences (downwards) between my 2017 and 2019 cars.
