Trying to locate my fathers old P1800S
Hi there
I am wondering if someone might be able to help me. I am trying to locate (if it still exists!) my father P1800S – I was actually brought home from the hospital in a moses basket in the back when I was born – Imagine doing that now lol. This is all the information I have on it so far WWC 275F Make VOLVO Model 1800 S Colour BLUE (Pale blue) Body type COUPE Engine size 1780 cc Engine number 3787 Year 06-Oct-1967 Exported on 01-Jun-2004 Substantially repaired and/or accident damaged: Identity checked on 07/09/2004 Bit confused that it says it was exported before the damage. I really need to find the VIn/chassis number but stuggling. Thought it would come back on a HPI check but it didn't Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Martin |

Ok so I think I have tracked the chassis number down - 25733
I believe Gordon Hunter is the person to speak to next? Can't PM him yet though as I don't have enough posts so hopefully he will see this. |

Just means its the 1968 model year, they started making them in Sept 1967 I think think mine was made in the same week.

The F reg goes from august 1967 to august 1968 and volvo model years changed around august / september back then i think so that all tallys .

Yup - iirc, the changes came in when the factory started up after the summer hols. I was told this when my '67 F (registered in Sept '67) was identified by someone who knows the model year differences as being built before the holidays.
