Volvo should get their game together. In November/December there were two map updates pretty much two weeks apart, and now this rolled back update? The sooner they do away with Sensus, the better. Clearly it is already being treated as a secondary priority as all eyes are on SPA2 and Google’s Android OS.

I do feel like frequent updates of maps are a good sign of commitment and I guess mistakes can happen so the need to pull the update. I’d agree that there is a slight feeling of Volvo shifting focus to the SPA2 and Google stuff to the point I’d doubt there’ll be substantial changes in the current crop of software

1333 sitting on a USB stick ready to upload when I get in the car later today. I wonder if it'll fix the wrong speed limit on the road just outside the village. (At least the data thinks the speed limit is lower than it actually is.)

There are a few long-term (weeks or months) road closures around Milton Keynes at the moment that the Volvo is not showing ... has SPA Sensus ever shown road closures?

The Sensus need to be connected to the Internet to show the traffic information. Also the right box need to be ticked to receive it.

Shows road closures for me. If the speed limit is wrong you can correct it on the source map owned by Nokia.

These new updates are different I am sure the UK map did not have Iceland before, but now it does.

This also means the maps are now to big to update via the car modem as they have done before now, or is this just the big initial update and then ongoing the updates will be smaller?

They have changed how the countries are grouped together, and some like France are not a separate download all together

Iceland has always been grouped with the UK, on SPA cars at least.

No, they won't be smaller.

Thanks -- yes, it's connected and I get the colours for slow moving traffic (and I tend to have it showing the green as well) ... I'll see if there's something I've missed.

Ah, that's interesting -- have you got a link for that?

It's not the most intuitive.
