21W bulbs are fine and work fine when i try them as brake lights.
The reverse lights are on the tailgate, the tail lights and fog lights are on the same assembly and these work fine.
Reading the handbook there is nothing which tells me that one fuse could be responsible for the reverse lights only, so i'm basically at a loss as to what to try now.
Any experience/advice welcome and appreciated
Thanks Ed
If you look in your handbook there are lists for the two different fuse boxes and the reverse lights are called back up lights. This is a 15 amp fuse in the secondary systems interior fuse box, not the engine bay one.

BUT, if you want to know if it has blown (There should be a spare and removal too in the fuse box cover), just try the indicators, because I think they are on the same fuse.
No indicators = 15A fuse gone
Indicators OK = Probably the reverse switch or a connector to it.

Hi I have the very same thing.. I took it to main dealer in Hinckley. On the 2nd visit, they asked for 2 hours extra for further diags. There's no live feed to the switch so I guess it maybe similar to your fault..

Anyway, Volvo requested the car for 4 days to fit the 2 hours work in as they were busy...

I was wondering.. As I have analogue/digital electronics background, does anyone have the schematics to a XC60 Lux Nav R-design D5??

I don't suppose you have any photos of the area in which the corrosion was?

Cheers

Unlikely as this is the forum section for S/V40 models from 1996-2004!

Elsewhere on the forum in the XC60 subsection they may be able to assist.
