I'm 28 and have recently acquired my first Ovlov, an -11 plate S60 D3 R-Design. I've tried my best to keep things interesting in my driving career: first car I bought myself at 18 was a 1990 Range Rover Vogue V8, which was the result of a 3am post-lash eBay spree, followed by a Mitsubishi FTO GPX, a BMW 328i (E36), a Ford Puma and finally a BMW 525i Touring (E61), which was promptly driven into the Irish Sea after one four-figure bill too many.

I've always been a Swede-fancier, of both main brands (a minty-mint 900 Turbo Carlsson is almost at the top the Lotto List), and frankly I'm ashamed it's taken me this long to join the fold. It was between the 525i and an 850 T5 last time round, the final choice of which hindsight tells me now was a very grave error. Of all the vehicles I've owned (the number of which is a fraction of the total figure that I've driven), I've never had a car fit me like a glove more than this S60. I'll get my money's worth out of this one and then in a few years' time I'm eyeing up either a V90 or a XC90 (both the current shape) as its replacement. Either way, I'm a full convert now after years of being Swede-curious!

I do have a Volvo and wouldn't mind being 38 again.

I'm 54 in March and currently on my 4th Volvo which is a 2008 XC90 D5 only had it a month an working through some of it's issue but loving it so far.

Prviously had 2 x V70's (2004 and 2005) and a S60 2004, I've throughly enjoyed all of them and hope I enjoy the XC90 as much.

I'm forty-<mumble>, and drive a red 242GT that's had Things done to it.

That is, I drive it when I remember to switch the trickle-charger on when I put it in the shed pre-Christmas ... I don't currently drive it, because it has a flat battery & I need to buy a replacement ...
