Default Got splashed, now windscreen wipers don't work.

Hi all,

I'm looking for advice on some errors we've had since getting splashed by a car coming the other way on the road.
Splash was up to mid bonnet level.
Windscreen wipers now not working, after not stopping at all.
Got the AA out and had the fault codes:

B113187 Control module wiper module.
- missing message
- permanent
B129A88 LIN-bus "D"
-Bus off
-Permanent
B10AD96 Rain sensor
-Component internal failure
-Permanent

So I have cleaned the CEM unit with electric component cleaner, nothing looked corroded, plugged everything back in and still no response from wipers.

After some research I see that the Rain sensor and wipers both run off the same wiring from the CEM.

Is this something I can look at fixing myself? Hopefully just dry out some water that has leaked in somewhere in a wire joint from CEM to wiper/rain sensor. I don't have diagnostic tools myself.
But I do now have an enormous can of electric cleaner leftover from the CEM scrubbing!

My initial thought was to just replace the windscreen wiper motor as it has integral module but since the fault code highlights the rain sensor and LIN bus too, thought it would be a short somewhere.

Oh sorry, forgot to say, it's a V40, 1.6 diesel, 2013.
And it's black.
