Default windscreen pump

windscreen wiper pump is not working, I think needing replaced. what the best way to get to pump, hoping not bumper off surely Volvo wouldn't think to replace small part ,,, to remove large part. im thinking thru wheel arch?? any suggestions. thanks tried fuse, think was ok

Remove the plastic cover from under the engine, I think you can access it that was from underneath. I think 6 10mm screws and a couple of plastic clips to remove it. After a look around while you are there, like the condition of the lower rad hose clamp.

What year is your car ? If your car is a 1999-2004, then the only module that controls it, is the CEM. There is on relay inside it that controls the washer pump, windshield wipers and headlight wipers. So if your wipers are working, the CEM is fine and the problem is the washer pump or the wiring to it

2004 year wipers work, and on interval. probably pump goosed .
