Default Ever a 245 4WD?

Was there ever a 245 that was four wheel drive?

I have searched the internet to try and prove an arguement that I once saw one but cannot find any evidence.

I have seen conversions which have basically put the body onto a donor engine chassis etc., yet was there anything before the new breed of Volvo 4x4s?

I have actually driven one! Sugga translates as sow in Swedish, which is appropriate as they are a complete pig to drive compaired to the forward control C300 series.

...........here's another rather extreme example:

http://www.offroaders.com/readers/od.../4x4-volvo.jpg

copy the link into the address bar. It should then take you to the image. Can't seem to get it to work as a click link
