This was posted on Swedespeed, a TJ for US cars leather.
The following comment is surprising and resulted in me having to go back later to have the other seat replaced rather than all in one go.
"Both sides (Driver and/or passenger) should not be replaced as a pair if only one side has an issue."

Having read many reports of problems with the nappa leather made me decide to order the momentum trim,
adding options to get what I wanted and not what I didn't want (such as 20" wheels).

I have the Momentum with extras and I think the leather is a bit tougher than the Nappa which I had in the V90 Inscription I had before. I have not missed anything on this car that I had on the Inscription.

My standard leather Momentum driver's seat at 2,400 miles. A couple of minor creases but otherwise like new.

Wondered what the opinion of other members is regarding the attached picture.
Car has done 3400 miles and I am 5'10" and just over 11 stone.
Dealer has no knowledge of any complaints nor manufacturers recommended upgrade.

I am coming up to 1000 miles and mine is like new in my Momentum.
Leather will always crease a bit as it stretches as it is a natural product. Leather suites are the same. The softer the leather the more creases are likely to form IMHO. If they are wearing through or cracking then that is another matter

Your dealer may not be telling you the truth or has not looked, I think there is a TJ out for the seat leather like the US one in the post further above.
Your seats look really shiny.

They may have not sold enough cars to have another complaint but that doesn't help you .
They should go through the standard process and they will find a service bulletin on your particular problem tell them ...
