Default Volvo service bulb replacement

Hello all,

I wonder if anyone knows what is "N/S/F side light bulb " ?
Volvo official service charged me 118.20 pounds to replace it. They said its blown. If its a bulb should not it cost around tenner ?

Thanks!

What car do you have? N/S/F is near-side front.

If it's an LED 'bulb' then the cost may be correct. However, if you have one of the more recent cars I'd argue it should be covered by the 3-year warranty.

Sorry, its XC60 2010, the front lights are usual ones, not the ones which are with lenses and cold light modern style, not sure how those are called.
I'm going to collect the car tomorrow to see what exactly has been changed for this price

Best to never authorise work without agreeing first, that way you can decide if it a job you can do yourself. I always get a fixed price for a service and then clearly say "You must ring me for pre-authorisation if anything else needs doing".

Oh and this is the forum for the latest version of the XC60, you might be better posting in the correct forum...

2010? Didn't owners manuals decribe how to do it yourself in these days?

XC60 is easy to change bulbs I believe (on my 2nd but never had to change one) it's all in the handbook.

Unless of course the bulb is one of the Marker bulbs that's not part of the headlamp assembly.

LED bulbs cannot be replaced, the whole headlight needs replaced.

If it is a 2010 it΄s the wrong sub forum and certainly no LED bulb.
