Default Xenon headlights transplant

Had anybody ever taken the xenon headlight unit and put them on a standard v50 that didn’t have xenons and if so what did you have to do to make them work ?

Ha ha.... this has got to be the most common thread in this forum...

It's relatively easy to do and has been done by many members, so have a good search of the forum.

Member LizardOfBodom I think has got the best results.

Keep in mind though it might cause you problems at MOT time, even with a good conversion.

In short - dont. Its easier/better to swap projectors and use HID kit than trying to use oem HID lamps. Different wiring, sockets, lack of any levelling (even manual) - seriously, no point.
have a look at PDF from my sig to see how easy is to swap projectors only, if you are still interested in it.
