As much as I wanted to go for 18"s, and throw caution to the wind, the more sensible (boring?) side of me took over.

I put the order in just now for the 17"s.

Also picked those with Michelin Pilot Sport 4's, my mate was raving on about them so much, it was as much to shut him up then to pick a good tyre I am sure they will be good.

Thanks for all the advice and help all. I'll repot back in some weeks and let you know my thoughts as it may help others.

You'll love those tyres. I've got Michelin Pilot Super Sports on my Focus and they are stickier than a sticky thing.

So wheels turned up, fitted no real issues apart from the slightly odd positioned jacking points on the front side of the S60???

They look great I will put some photos on when I get a chance.

Drive/ride, I've only driven about 15 minutes plus 4 non-scrubbed tyres so obviously taking it easy. But feels fine, went over speed bumps etc no problems with the ride at all. Now makes me wonder about 18" but what's done is done.

I did notice a little bit of tramlining about the only negative, steering feels more pointed but again, I had to take it really easy.

Also no rubbing/fouling I tried full lock steering no issues, all the homework I did beforehand paid off.
