Slide the front seat backwards enough to get the backrest down past the glovebox, and once it is down, slide the seat forwards again.

Sorry for not making my own post.

I have MY2011 S60 with 0997version navi software (2012 maps). If I let dealership install new navi software should I also get sensus 3.0? Dealer said they dont know what is included in new software. I dont have trip monitor when in “My car” menu.

What is the dealer cost to do the 40 minute update?

Loading the maps is a bit of a pain, as with the software that they now install, the maps will not load while the car is being driven.

So the car has to be left (in my case for 3 hours and 6 mins), stationary with the engine stopped. You have to leave the radio on, or it keep shutting down. However with the radio on the battery runs low, and it still shuts down.

I left a battery charger on connected as advised, ut it still took 3 goes to get it all done.

You know when it is done, as you get the rather grumpy message:-

Installation finished, remove the usb stick.

Now for the next issue.:-

Who told you that you can't drive the car during the map update? its absolutely fine to drive you just can't use the nav! stopping starting the car is fine too as it just resumes from the last part of the install.

40 minutes is optimistic and I think last time we done it, came to just under £100 from memory, there are 2 pieces of software to load in, the second one usually takes around an hour to do.
