Default V60 cross country 2wd odd tyre wear

Hi Everyone

Got a 2016 v60 cross country 2wd that seems to be wearing the front tyres edges almost stepped.
Volvo recon they have done the tracking but like most main dealers there full of ****e. Any ideas apart from the tracking not to have been done would cause this?

Thanks
Tom

which edges , inner , outer , both ? both wheels the same ? what tyre pressures have you been using long term ?
Inner edge wear is almost always low tyre pressures , set them to 36 to 38 psi and check them regularly so that stay at that figure .

Yes that is typical of running for extended periods with low tyre pressures , more wear on left side due to all the roundabouts we have .

volvo Eco ( 38 psi ) will help with fuel consumption a lot as well as tyre wear , try pushing your car on a smooth flat surface , 38 psi you can push it with one hand 30 psi you can hardly move it . if you find the ride not to your liking try 36 psi but don't go any lower .
