Five out of ten for reliability based on, among other things, reports of electronic maladies from owners. Good to see it hitting some reports in the press.

I think it is from warranty direct who offer extended warranties, so will it be based on claims for cars out of their manufacturing warranty.

"
Buyers can also choose from 2.0-litre petrol and diesel models and a petrol-electric plug-in hybrid.
And even the slowest of these – the diesel – has plenty of poke.
"
According to Volvo specs, the T5 is (a bit) slower compared to the D5.

They have got the BIK rate wrong - 5% was last year; it is currently 7%!

Ease of driving 7/10?????
Perhaps compared to Ford Fiesta or a smart car. They ought to compare to the car in the same category - 7 seater SUV. I squeeze this car in smaller spaces that I used to dare with a Prius using 360 camera. Everyone agrees the car just shrinks around you when you drive it.
It's definitely towards the upper end for driving dynamics in its class too.
1st model year teething issues are common for any make. Look at the tech they brought out - it's all cutting edge. They could have gone like Toyota putting a generation old tech into a Lexus and it's unbreakable. Compared to range rovers which never get slated for reliability by British press this car is nearly faultless.

Why is that, are their more up to date designs still as bad as the older models for reliability.
