Probably good for any badly behaving passengers too!
I paid 250 for family pack - which was in my mind just for auto-child lock button on the driver door. Worth it to me as sometimes adults sit in the rear and sometimes kids. Middle seat integrated booster, drop headrests and the divider net are free with a that and all have been used once or twice with headrests drop utterly pointless. The child lock button I use all the time.

The power folding headrests come as standard equipment with the V90.
They can be operated from the cargo area, or the central display.
I just assumed the XC90 had the same.

What is the purpose of this v90 feature?

Can you also fold the rear seats from the cargo area? I know this is a feature you see in a lot of estates these days. If so, I wonder if this is related to getting the power fold head restraints in the V90 but not the XC90.

1 - Better vision when reversing.
2 - Have not tried it yet, but I understand the headrests and back seats can be lowered from the cargo area.

I have this option as well and agree the headrest holding is a waste of time and having to get out of the car and go to the rear seats to put them back up is even worse, and I also think they should have seperate door switches for each side for child locks as I often have a child in one side and an adult in the other, the one switch locks both rear doors and windows which requires you to switch them off each time for the adult to get out or operate the window, if they were two switches you could leave one side on as long as you needed to, (I have a child seat in the nearside rear so would like that side on all the time and the other side off.)
I only wanted the middle row booster seat but had to buy the full family pack which I did not need or want.

Are you sure the folding headrests are part of family pack? Does not look like they are included in the online configuration tool.?

That's interesting - I thought the dropped headrests were a standalone option only. I have ordered Family pack and didn't opt for the folding headrest option. So does that mean I will actually get it now?

Looks like they have changed it and took it off the family pack but have it as a individual option, which makes sense. Had it on my Merc E Class about 11 years ago. On that though the headrest dropped into the seat flush. It was ok, but not sure I would have paid for it.

edit: It is in the 7 seat comfort pack.
