Fan Turns on Everytime I Turn Off the Engine
Hello everyone! I'm not sure if this is actually a problem or it's normal behaviour for my car.
So, the thing is everytime I turn off my engine the fan turns on for about a minute. It happens everytime and it's always working for about a minute. The car is not overheating, the temperature on the dash is 90 before I turn off the car. I double checked it - the fan is not working while the engine is on. It turns on right after I turn the car off. The car is Volvo V40, 2003, 1.9DI, 115HP Wish a good day to all! Last edited by linex12; Nov 19th, 2020 at 11:32. |

Try unplugging the MAF and see if it happens again. It may sound a bit silly, but quite a few times , a bad MAF seems to be the cause of this issue on our models.
