Default For Sale: Genuine Volvo 855 T-5R, excellent condition - 99p

It's a very beautiful car, but I need to cash it up. I've put it on eBay here with a 99p starting bid; should generate some interest...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...STRK:MESELX:IT

Black Volvo 855 T-5R estate automatic 1995

* RedStuff front brake pads

* GreenStuff rear brake pads

* Vented, drilled and grooved brake discs all round

* Poly engine bushes

* Twin airbags

* Colour coded exterior trim

* Alpine 6 CD changer

* Cargo net

The car is in very nice condition and driven by a non-smoker. Mileage 193k. Service history is complete, every 10,000 miles, upto 110k. The log doesn't have spaces for services after that, but there are a couple more services at 150k and 160k noted on the page after. They are by the same garage as all the others, so it is very likely that the owner had the 120k, 130k and 140k services but they weren't recorded because there weren't any spaces for it. No service history past 160k, however I'm sure if you take a test drive you will agree that the car has been very well maintained.

Serious buyers are welcome to test drive (we are in East London area) - please contact me.

Overseas buyers at our discretion (we are aware of scams operating) - please contact me.

Any questions at all - please contact me.

At the time, the Volvo T-5R wagon was the fastest wagon ever made and held the title until Mercedes created an AMG E-Class wagon several years later.

At 313bhp I think the Audi RS2 might disagree and with a 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds it, shall we say ****ed all over the 850

BTW not putting down the Volvo, great car and I bought an R myself.

Well eBay wasn't the best idea. Worth £2000, hoping for £1750, have already turned down £1500, auction ended up at £1020 :-(

Then before the guy picked it up the inner CV joint started knocking, so now he doesn't want it and I've got it up for sale again. Not going to sell via eBay though!

£1500 anyone?

(CV joint and drive shaft will be replaced of course)

Why not go back to the person that offered you the £1500

Also some better photos of the car taken in daylight would be good.

Default Odometer in kilometres...

I've still got the T-5R, I'm pleased to say.

I've just found out that the mileage of 194367 on the odometer is actually in kilometres, as is the tripmeter. The computer still measures in miles though, so 10 miles on the computer registers 16 on the mileage.

In other words, the car has done 120777 miles, or 194367km.

Has anyone else come across this?

Any idea why this would be? Speedo has mph round the outside.

Any offers for the car?

can I ask why you think your car is worth so much more than any other avarage t5r? even if it was absolutely fantastic with full history, and 120k it would only be worth about £1,750.
