Service power system warning
Hey,
New Volvo owner here with my first post. I recently got a 2005 V60 D5. It had the 'Urgent power system service required' warning, and I figured it would be an easy fix after doing some research on what the possible reasons could be. Fast forward a few weeks, I have a new battery, a new alternator (also tried just a new regulator). The light is still there. A local garage did the diagnostics and tried resetting the codes, but they keep coming back. There are two codes that come up. 1. Loss of communication 2. ECM(Engine Control Module) not sure which code exactly. The Garage said that trying to get to the bottom of these issues will cost quite a lot and not worth doing at this point. Any one have experience with something similar? any help would be appreciated. |
