Follow-up to Hazard Switch Guide by Gatos
Hi,
For whatever reason, I can't seem to post a reply on Gatos' Hazard switch guide thread. Just wanted to follow-up - there was a post within that guide by qkarolus where it was suggested that a little dab of epoxy on the white spring piece addressed the issue. I was going to attempt that but in the process noticed a tiny metal spring underneath the white piece. I believe that this piece needs to be aligned in the middle of the white piece in order for the switch to work (when aligned in the middle it puts sufficient upward pressure on the middle of the white piece). When I first opened mine up, the metal piece was wedged to one side. I tried realigning mine to the middle and the hazard switched worked once more...not sure how long that will last for but I will report back. Here's a link to the hazard switch guide: http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showth...d+switch+guide
