Oh well, people now see fake news everywhere, even in mandatory sales reports...

The thread title is rather misleading, Volvo's figures are honest and accurate and not intended to do anything other than convey that information. That some choose to make their own assumptions and then call foul is a little bizarre.

Indeed Quacker, your problem seems to be in understanding the purpose of the figures.

Volvo doesn't claim there has been, you falsely assert that Volvo makes that claim. The error and misunderstanding is all yours, not Volvo's!
I made no claim whatsoever. The claim is implied in the title of this topic.
What I said, perfectly accurately, was that there had hardly been any increase in XC60 sales year on year and that the percentage increase quoted was misleading.
Now if you want to make a big thing out of this, it is up to you.

You posted the below immediately after I had concluded and posted it was the thread title that was the issue. Thus leading me to believe you still had a gripe with Volvo.

especially when put together with the claim of a truth being a lie. The 387% is not a lie the OP's claim in the thread title is just incomplete.

Let's put it down to a misunderstanding.

Still think the very upmarket interiors that Volvo now do will contribute to stealing BMW/Audi and merc customers.

Hope not - too many ar$eholes driving those brands still, don't want all Volvo drivers getting the same rep that they've had for so many years!
