All great advice and is taken on board, wont bother with an M cam i dont think, will search for a better one. i had already read about the conical flange and i was already swinging to one of the other styles as it opens options for more turbo's like a 16t or 19h (iirc)
Side exhaust i am thinking of is more along these lines.

Turbo wise look into Garrett T3's. I'm going for a TB0384 for my proposed Redblock build, A cam, adjustable cam gear with a 2.5" downpipe.
Garrett has so many different options and opportunity to tweak if you want more. Dated technology but still works as it should. |

I had thought about a T3 but wasn't sure how easy it would be to convert.

Ok i have been looking at the Radiators. I have learned that the Auto Rads have a built in oil cooler for the transmission and i was wondering if i fitted an Auto rad to my Manual if i could use the Trans cooler as an Engine Oil Cooler???

You have an engine oil cooler, or at least I'm pretty sure you do. That right angle jobby with the filter on the end.

You'll also need to do oil lines and water cooling lines too. |

As for the Manifold, is there enough room for a tubular SS manifold to be made and fitted???

There is enough room for it. There some cheap ones available that can be reworked to fit or you can have a nice custom one built.
I think you might need to take a step back, consider your power and then work out what you need to do to get there. The stock manifold will support good power and is free as you already have it. You can very quickly spend a lot of money and crea a lot of work that might not get completed. Try and keep it as simple as you can for your goals. |

Standard manifold is fine.... Tubular SS turbo manifolds get pricey very quickly. There is room, the Garrett T3, especially in the Cossie TB0384 or TB0361 sense. Get the one with the Cosworth .48 exhaust housing, 2.75" outlet I think, spools very very nicely and will flow for plenty of what you need. The 0361 is the 55 trim, 0384 is the 60 trim compressor side. Get it! |
