That's the one. Is it available from the dealers?

I am sure it is! A dealer should be able to find the part # in their systems.

Yes, I think so, but the OP specifically mentioned looking for the part number for the V90.

I wonder if the one supplied with the old XC60 would fit?, its not a precisely sized thing as long as its a similar width at the top, and the straps reach the hold down eyes.

The XC60 one has a lot of slack in it, almost as it it fitted a range of cars.

I would dearly like to know if the XC 60 cargo net fits the V90 as they are for sale on E bay etc but the V90 cargo/safety net is nowhere to be seen. There are slots in my V90's roof lining for some kind of cargo safety net. what are the dimensions across the top of the XC 60 one??

If you want measure between the catches I will see if my xc60 one is wide enough.

Thanks !
It's 95 cm between the slots in the roof lining. I have now asked a dealer about it and they quoted £240!

Are you sure - the XC60 is 102cm across the slots and the nets frame, the slots are sloping and the net frame is cranked, so hard to say where to take the dead size, but its definitely over 1000mm.

There are front and back slots, I measured across the back ones, I.e. ‘seats up’

Its not worth £240.00 thats for sure. The E class one is the best, the net retracts into the same cassette that holds the load bay cover, and it can be attached in 2 locations for seats up/down.
Its also got a stupid useless collapsing crate thats more Poundland than Ikea.

I remember when my Volvo 850 had the same mechanism as you described above, very functional design
