Default Remote central locking defective

Hi all,

I have a V50 D5 R-design with a sunroof. Unfortunately I became a victim of the notorious clogging of the sunroof drain tubes, which got me 2 inches of rain on the floor. I had a lot of electrical errors because of that, but I managed to fix all of them (except one) by draining all the water and by placing a big heater inside of the car for about five days.

The only thing that still doesn't work, is the option to remotely lock (and open) the doors by the buttons on the keys. This is also the case for the 'coming home lights'; the V50 isn't responding to the buttons on the key. Central locking from the inside - with the help of the buttons on the door interior - does work, so it definitely has something to do with the remote/transceiver part.

I went to the local Volvo specialist, where they've scanned the car for errors by VIDA. They found 16 errors, from which only one returned after resetting them. This was an error regarding the "Control Module" (not the CEM, that one was error-free), but VIDA wasn't showing any additional information and the mechanics have no idea what it means or how to fix it.

Now I'm left with a V50 that only can be locked/opened by the little emercency key... Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be and how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

The receiver for the remote central locking is inside the rear view mirror so have a good look at that and make sure its dry.
