Unhappy Flashers/Relay not working. No turn signals.

Hey guys,

This is my first time to the forum. I have a 122s (Amazon) I have been working on for the past two or three months. I have loved working on the car but the latest turn signal problem has me frustrated!

The turn signal switch on the steering column started smoking and got fried about a month ago. Before that the front right turn signal wasn't working and the fuel gauge has always been jumpy.

After the switch got fried I ordered a new one and located a loose wire going to the relay. But now neither turn signal works and the relay doesn't work at all when I switch down to left! My test light shows it is getting power but it never reaches the bulbs. When I switch to the right signal it is an intermittent blink/sound that becomes more regular and the lights don't blink either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
