Sticking caliper?
Hi folks
Had to change my rear pads and disks this weekend due to the offside outer pad wearing down to nothing and scoring the disk. This is pretty recent as I last checked the pads before a road trip a few weeks back and haven't done loads of miles since. Really annoying as the remaining pads were all on around 4-5mm of material left Stripped and cleaned the slider pins on both sides so hopefully that resolves it. I'll keep a closer eye on it though. Anyone else experienced this? Caliper carrier bolts were a pig to remove. Tight right to be point of coming out but went back in no problem. Also used the battery method to wind back the hand brake. Really easy and much less hassle than taking off the motors. Got 40% off at Eurocarparts so Brembo discs and pads for £150 which seems pretty good. I've previously bought Pagid but feel I should trust the Brembo name more |

Yes I have noticed the same wear as yourself. I am on my 2nd set of pads and discs and the wear is the same as how the original wear was ( uneven wear to the rear axle, with heavier wear to offside ) I kept the old pads and replaced the worn side with the thickest old pads so as to even the wear and I will replace both sides in the future.

Yup I had the exact same - such a difference in wear I thought the dealer had forgotten to change the pads on one side. Also the offside on mine. It certainly wasn’t stuck anymore when I changed them though.
I agree the carrier bolts were a nightmare coming out - couldn’t get a ratchet in there properly because of the shape of the hub and the ‘wing’ for the ARB |

The pictures show the original fitted pads.
