Oil in coolant v60 d3
Hi all.
Last month I had my 2014 v60 d3 serviced by a volvo specialist and unfortunately had to have the oil cooler replaced as it was cracked and oil had got in to the coolant. The oil cooler was replaced and the system was flushed. However, I noticed that there was still a black oily residue in the coolant chamber. So I took it back for another system flush but this hasn't completely worked either. The dealer (who I have found to be excellent) informed me that it was nothing to worry about but to take it back after some miles have been put on it for another flush. My questions are, should I be worried that the oil in the coolant is doing damage? Should I look to have the system flushed again and cleaned with a degreaser? Thanks Marc |
