If you bang the clutch out with enough rpm you can blow a diff with stored energy in the flywheel. You need good wet tyres and a wet road.

Time to spend big bucks fellow, Aussie lockers are fairly cheap for what they are. Did you know Quaife now make volvo diffs? You using this for sliding?

im using the project for a daily and also for sliding, once it is complete it will be great
i realise that i cannot lock a diff for daily driving because it will tear up my tyres with going round corners etc....

Are you using a 360 diff? If so there's a guy on V3M who quaife make a LSD for but they only make them in sets of ten and only for him so he gets group buys. I think ATM they are at a group of 4 or 5.
