Default Fuel Hose / Pipe

Hi

Got the 144’s first MOT coming up and I’ve noticed the fuel pipe is breaking up at the carb end. It’s not weeping fuel but the black ‘asbestos’ braiding is coming away and I can just see the MOT man failing that.

Thing is it drapes over the rocker cover and is quite close to the manifold, so I guess this is why it’s got the ‘asbestos’ braiding – it’s not actually braiding but looks like it

First question; what bore pipe do I need – it’s a single Stromberg

Second question; where can I get the pipe?

cheers

Thanks - I'll give those people a ring - we may have different carbs but the pump will be the same bore I'd have thought

Great engine bay reference picture too

Cheers
