new pump high fuel pressure
Replaced the fuel pump in my 2002 S60 2.4m. Fuel pressure is now reading 95-100 PSI. My vehicle has no PEM. I've been told the pump I bought -
volvo 30761743 is for a vehicle with a PEM. My pump gets a constant 13.5v from the ECM. Anyone heard of this issue? What it the correct pump? Bill |

That pump part number is correct for your car up to chassis number 234999 anyway ! The Pump Electronic Module came out in about 2005 ( probably after chassis 234999 )

It cant be anything other than the fuel pressure regulator unit , is it in the pump unit in the tank ..or does your model have a pressure regulator on the fuel pipes around the front of the Right hand rear wheel area under the car?

S60 high fuel pressure
I can't find a regulator - the fuel line runs directly from the fuel filter to the fuel rail. Must be internal to the pump.

Wouldn't there have to be different fuel pumps for the different control systems?
