Default Rica e-power remap less smooth?

Anyone experience with this? that the engine sounds more "diesel and less smooth"
Does the dynamic injection timing being altered much to achive better milage under patial load?

funny
Contacted Rica today to complain about the engine roughness
I asked what the difference was in their "eco remapping" and "regular remapping
There was none! just horsepower Kind of strange if you advertise with eco remapping
There are eco advantages with timing advance wich are not factory optimzed concerning NOX
After the question if timing advance is difference with the regular remap
NONE!
In fact timing advance is not used at all

Am i being lied too? or is this plain incompetence?
Either "eco remapping" is none existance or they deny timing advance to play down my symptoms?

They want to set back the original map but how can i verfy that its not just the same timing advance with less horsepower so they can say Hey its not our fault?

Can the original remap be verified?

Default MTE software.

Or....

You might consider the no frills MTE software upgrade that I offer for £435 that gives you both enhanced power and torque figures plus better economy....provided that you drive with that end in mind...

If you could post the year, spec. etc of your car I can let you know the outputs etc.

An important feature of MTE's work which is unique to them is that you provide an initial read-out of your car's ECU upon which they make their individual adjustments. So, if you have or do get your car checked by a Volvo dealer for their latest software changes they are incorporated in MTE's final product, our competitors do not offer that important feature.

Regards, Don.

@don kalmar

I dont live in the uk
Besides the subjective preference of your own product
Is timing advance being used?
i mean if you increase the railpressure you get automaticly a slight timing advance , two other tuners i contacted said their timing is slight advanced

i also went to a bosch service to check if a cilinder balance test could be performed
Couldnt be done because of the remap a code of genuity is breached just as it failed in VIDA

@mike

Is it possible with your remap to do a cillinder balance test on your car in VIDA?
