yes i can do the fuel correction test on the software for my re mapped car.i have no faults logged on the ECU to stop me doing this unlike RICA which stores a code to the effect that the ECU has been played with.i will do one in the next couple of days and post it up for you.

No need to do it again , i believe you ;-)
Spoke to de guy with the VIDA he did a balance test on a petrol car , so i guess the RICA remap is preventing it

Im kind of sick with it all , also the questions i asked them seems unwanted and they just keep everything murky
LIke i can do anything with that info

did the car come with the Remap on, or have you had it done yourself. if you purchase the softloader you can take the Map off and do the test for your injectors.run the car without the Map for a couple of days and see what happens.or see if the RICA agent will take it off for you run the car, and ask them to put it back on that way you will no if its the Map or not.

I had the car without the remap so i knew it drove better sound/vibration wise
The softloader is a good idea , but if the remap is the source i dont think i want the remap with them anymore
I m almost certain there is timing advance with these symptoms, and i consider lying/incompetence unforgivable.
They even state it on their website that ingnition timing is altered , and how else can you improve economy? not with fuel quantity and turbo boost alone

I hoped they answered that there is a timing advance difference between eco and regular remap then i wouldnt mind to pay the difference extra if that cured the symptomes

it will not cure the symptoms i am afraid, ditch the MAP and take it on the chin by the sound of things RICA are not going to give you any short change and will say its the car and not them.there are a few threads about RICA causing issues including the perol cars.i have the MTE and altho it only gives me 197 bhp i am very happy with it.

We will see on taking it on the chin, 500 euro's for 20 minutes flashing of a standard file and being blunt and uncooperative with fair questions
If they want to blame the car they have to prove it ,if the car runs better without the map i have proven my side of the argument
I dont think they want loud arguments in front of other customers
I have been polite and tried to rule out as much as i can before i aproached them

If the car runs better without the remap and the balance test points at an injector breaching the correction limit, ill do my part and change the injector and try the remap again

You dont need to appologize ,you have been helpful
I understand that in many cases fast money goes above good service and people are sent away like children.
But i just want the product they promised and be insulted right away that it cant be their fault and "no sir no timing advance" without seeing the car running with/out the map and me the one trying to rule out everything

An important feature of MTE's work which is unique to them is that you provide an initial read-out of your car's ECU upon which they make their individual adjustments. So, if you have or do get your car checked by a Volvo dealer for their latest software changes they are incorporated in MTE's final product, our competitors do not offer that important feature.

Trying to sell a product is one
But how is the timing advance arranged?

Smoothness issue is resolved
vacuumbox of the egrcooler bypassvalve is leaking wich means the enginepads dont receive enough vacuum to smooth the engine at idling

Blocked the vacuumhose of the vacuumbox wich resolved the vibration symptoms

Im wondering if the box can be replaced because it seems the connection too the throtle house is dirty with oil and maybe also not airtight
Saw no bolts etc
