My ebay reseller got me my replacement today is ok.

works ok.just had a play.
The board inside is different , like a stack of two sitting on a third.
Tha bad one had 1 board only

My tcv is an error code.

My boost max after flooring it in 3rd was 16psi,

when drivng at 30 the boost is only about 2psi?

The car drives ok though?

I did see some rail pressure values on here somewhere. I think they were from Torque app?

If so how dya get to see rail pressure etc. Mine did coolant temp, Vac, Boost, speed, maybe 6 items but little else.

I guess this is the entry point and u need more plug ins perhaps or setings from other menus perhaps.

Any takers - sorry for poumding the OBD but theres no sticky and most google rail pressure queriies end up with Dodge engines in the good ol US of A.

I just bought one off of Amazon ... I made sure I got the obd Bluetooth adaper with the best reviews 12 quid ish.

I have also just downloaded the torque pro app. I can't wait to see what's going on in my cars brain. I am the only person I know who is willing to put any effort in to figuring out my engine faults.

It's listed as fuel rail pressure.
D5 Euro 3 and 4 should be around 5000 psi at idle to a max around 23000 psi.

ive tried all available versions(1.4 1.5 2.1) of china ELM copies. they all share a common problem - i need to do like a hundred tries before it gets connected to ECU. bluetooth connection is good and stable all the time but CAN timings or something is off.

I got an elm327 cable for the Punto recently. It read the engine module straight off the bat but wouldn't connect with the p/s module. There are some fairly well documented issues around this relating to bridging of CAN lines 6 and 7 iirc with an incorrect resistor. The 'fix' is to open the bridge and fit two other resistors with capacitors to ground. After a bit of digging I found some who had success simply removing the offending resistor. The online diagrams for these cheapo elm cables are a mess. Eventually I found a likely looking eight leg chip with a resistor bridging the legs with the offending CAN numbers and just removed it. Problem solved.
