South Yorkshire Road Run - July 3rd

Any one fancy an evening road run one evening early July, i'm thinking of meeting up at Junction 37 of M1 at Barnsley, head out on the A628 towards Manchester, turn off to Glossop and pick up the A57 to Ladybower resevoir, maybe have a drink at a pub there and chance to take pics etc over the resevoir, then head back towards Sheffield and home to where ever you all live etc.....

I'm initially thinking if we met up at 7pm it would give us an hour driving and time for a natter and a tyre kick etc before darkness too.

Nice idea TDS, are outboard motors a pre-requisite!!

Can't make it down for this I'm afraid, as I'm on Late shift that week but will bump the thread anyway in the hope of getting a bit of interest.

Let me know if it goes well as I'd like to try and get down for any future runs out.

At the moment im thinking of going in my Volvo yacht lol....it doesn't look like anyone is interested actually, Tuesday nights crap on telly so i thought a couple of hours evening meet would be better than wasting a day on a weekend actually.

Shame there's not been much take up on this, hope it doesn't put you off trying again.

BTW, am hoping to sort out a bit of a run in N Yorks on the sat of the BKV, keep your eyes on the northern BKV thread if you fancy joining me (may just be me otherwise!!!)
