Northern BKV Saturday Drive

Was thinking; set off from wherever you are on Saturday morning (campsite, Home, etc.....), meet at the viewpoint above hole of horcum (large car park) drive over the moors to Robin Hoods Bay for fish and chips, drive back over the moors, stopping off at "The legendary Saltersgate Inn" for refreshments if required, through Pickering and back to Malton.

For those who don't know the area, this is a fantastically scenic drive.

If this is not going to interfere with the event and if anyone fancies it let me know and I will draw up some route details etc.
So is anyone up for this? was thinking meet at Hole of Horcum mid afternoon, wheel kick and photos etc, take the short drive up to Robin Hoods bay or depending on numbers may be better to go to Whitby (as parking is easier) have fish and chips if required then for any that want return back and stop for a drink at Beck Hole (if there's only a few of us) or "the legendary Saltersgate Inn" (if there's more of us as it has a car park).

Mid afternoon start will give people most of the day to get there or to visit Pickering Steam Fair etc.

Robin Hoods Bay will be no good if there's lots of cars or if anyone is not physically able to walk down to the village (it's not very accessible) so Whitby is more likely and a good place to meet up with anyone travelling down from the North.

Map of possible route below.

Hole of Horcum car park is Here

Let me know if anyone's interested or if I'm on my own

Will not be arriving till early hours of Sunday morning, due to a wedding on Saturday, but 'Dale'(the guard dog), will be there , if he behaves on the car journey down, but not the 'happy gang tent' as it is going to be B&B for one night. See you there !!
Kevin.
