Hi there,

Last few of days i seem to have to be verry close to my car before the remote would open the car,
so i changed the battery (cr 2032) but it is stil the the same have to be right up to the car as beffor it would work from a good distence,
Does any one have any idears of what might be wrong with it,

Sorry half asleep didnt read propperly..is your car pre 2004? if it is it maybe another isssue which i had previously..the remote control was the first sign..all led upto the whole car shutting down systematically..you could try removing battery negative lead overnight and reset the car...while doing this check under your seats for and stray network cables caught in seat runners..

why dont you try the overnight reset method ..it usually works just take the battery negative cable off overnight and let allow car to re-learn again..

No i dont think there is anything to save on the S60 theres no radio code to worry about or anything..just have keep key out of ignition and remove negative lead carefully..you will have to manually lock car and boot when battery is off and i assume you know howw to open boot without central locking via the keyhole hidden behind plastic panel on bootlid..
