FOR SALE XC90 Tailgate Handle with S/less Steel rod

I recently bought this off Owen on this site , who is currently breaking a 2005 XC90.

On receiving it, I discovered that Volvo in their wisdom had decided to make some minor alterations to this part when they introduced the facelift model in 2007. Neither myself nor Owen were aware of this but as a result it will not fit my car and whilst it is in excellent condition, I can't use it .
I am therefore advertising it for what it cost me which is £25 including delivery.

It has already had the pivot pin which normally rusts badly replaced with the correct diameter stainless steel rod which means the handle will never stick again. Those in the know realise that this is a very common issue on the XC90. This unit will fix it.

The easy way to check the difference between pre and facelift tailgate handles is by looking at the number plate lights.

The pre facelift ( this one for sale ) only uses one screw to secure each light.

The later facelift handle uses two screws for each light.

This handle is totally undamaged and will only require your existing number plate light units transferring over ( a very easy task )

I'll give it a little while on here before advertising it on Ebay where they are definitely fetching more money.
