2011 Volvo xc90 D5- went bang, smell of diesel

Hi, any help would be appreciated.
2011 Volvo xc90 D5 200bhp( 195000 miles)
I have just travelled 400 miles without a problem and the car drove fualtless.
I went out in it this morning, drove about a mile,then there was bang, a smell of diesel.
Then the car stuttered when I tried to drive away and would only get to 2000 revs, but the smell of diesel was very strong.
There are no warnings on the dash.
Any ideas, thank you

Sounds to me like you have a massive boost leak.

Check the boost pipes including those hidden by the engine undertray to see all are still attached / not split and also look to see if the intercooler has not split.
