Default 1986 Volvo 740GL Estate for sale

I have decided for a number of reasons that I no longer need my "reserve" car, originally bought so I had wheels for when the clutch finally did go on my day-car Volvo 240. Despite being a bit slippy it is still OK, also as I am going to stop driving after Christmas for a while due eye operations, somebody else can enjoy this fine car.
Pre-facelift car which I took over 100k miles a few months back, I have SORNd it now even though its MoT lasts until next year. A 5-speed manual without all that unnecessary complication of ABS braking, and a normal 2316cc engine with carb. Blue fleck cloth interior and has a load-obscuring roller blind thing and a load-carrying tray to keep the carpeting clean. Speedo and fuel gauge work (unusually) and the headlining has just a small bit starting to come away near the tailgate. No dings, bashes or rust but the tailgate has some blistering (alloy so corrosion) and the sunroof is similar.
The bonus - as the drivers seat is a bit scuffed I have the entire interior of a later 740 estate in unblemished grey leather to put into this car - my spring project to transfer from a spares-car, but now won't happen.
Regret can't put pics on here as computer too ancient, but I have several if interested: mail on paultill@tesco.net for a set. I would like around £400 for it please. Car situated along the south coast near Littlehampton.

Thanks to all the many who showed interest in this car and have received photos, it is now sold subject to collection.
A very rapid deal with an editor of a motoring magazine; you just may read about its future soon.
I'm glad it will be going to a good home, as I know the buyer has a very positive view of cars, so refreshing nowadays.
