945 estate for sale or repair

Andy Leek a member on 07779 222 777 has a 945 estate P Registered Petrol 2.3. colour Petrol Blue excellent condition, 96K miles but head gasket gone he has been quote £800+ to fix, anyone out there who could do the job for a lot less or interrsted in purchase?

You could do the head gasket your self for a ton mate including cam belt

I could do the job as you say for about £100 but it is not my car the owner cannot do it so hence the post on his behalf.

I don't really get time to sort my own cars out so not sure I could offer to help, where abouts is he located ?

Steve, I do not know the location he did not say all he left was his mobile number?

I just gave Andy a ring in the hope he might be local to me. Unfortunately he is in the West Midlands so a bit to far for me.

It does sound like a good car and it would be a shame to let it die for the sake of a head gasket.

I wish I had a recovery truck.

£800 is a MASSIVE overcharge for a H/G on an N/A.
