I believe I have the last 1992(J) 960 saloon Auto in UK
And I want to make sure it goes to someone who can appreciate it.

This car has one known scratch, a chip out of the front bumper and almost 100,000 miles on it. It needs a new windscreen really (£160) as the stone chip/crack just passes MOT.
Silver car with grey leather. Currently on private plate(not going with car)

New MOT, Cam belt upgrade, New tyres, new f wheel bearings and brake pads all round.

I don't know how much it is worth, I will rely on honesty in the forum if anyone should be interested.

It is on classic car insurance. Agreed value over 2 grand.
Comments anyone?

Default 960 for sale

Hi,
A couple of questions please.
How long have you had the vehicle.
Has it got service history.
Where are the headlamp washers.
How much is it for sale for.
Thank you, indoors

That rear decor panel looks awsome, is it red or a reflective style one?

Fellow 1992 960 / saloon (Auto) owner here. Very interesting, I thought a driver's side airbag was standard for all 960s.

Cool spoiler, I'd like to have one along with some turbo wheels.

Default Some answers people

Sorry for delay in replies, been working hard.
Had the vehicle about a year and a half,
done a lot of work on it.

There is some pre 2000 history, a sheaf in fact. She was stored for 12 years before I got it with no test. so during that period there is no history! I have repaired it and put it back on the road. hence new wheel bearings, steering rack, tyres, cam belt, etc.
Previous Owner passed away.

I have been driving it for about 6 months or so, and its sweet and quiet.
Everything works except a/c which probably just needs gas.

Someone asked where the headlamp washers are. Hmm I wouldn't know what happened to the original ones. I can get some and fit them for the prospective new owner should you not be able to do so yourself. They are readily available from a breaker friend of mine. I asked. All newer cars don't use them so I have never missed them!

The rear number plate trim is original Volvo reflective although it is cracked under the plate and has several holes in it.

The spoiler is not for sale separately!

This Model does not have ANY airbags. There does not appear to have been a situation where they were removed.

Bodywork is 99% showroom. having one scratch on the bonnet and NO dents.
The front bumper has a chunk out of it about an inch wide.

Please ask any further questions you need, Ill get back to you.
I'll reiterate that I cannot reply to PMs right now. They say I don't have enough posts. my email is thetrainman at ntlworld.com
Thanks
