Default Sunroof fault XC60

Hi, ive searched for this problem but cant find any answers, so im hoping someone here can help.

Have a problem with the sunroof where is not opening / closing properly.
It (usually) opens to tilt, then slides 1, 2, 3, inches at a time, with the switch held on, and the same when closing.

Sometimes it just doesnt open at all, but it will often open (intermittently as above) if I switch off ignition and start again, it seems to reset something.

The shade/sunscreen doesnt open or close at all.

I have taken down the lining, and wound the mechanisms manually and they run smoothly, although with a bit of resistance, but nothing more than expected. Everything looks clean in the runners etc.

I have disconnected the front motor, and switched on and it runs the same (a second or so at a time)

I have also run a Launch x431 on it but cant find any faults or resets.

2010/11 model

I have also disconnected the battery to reset, and tried the key in/out unlock doors calibration reset and no difference.

Many thanks in advance.

COULD IT BE THE ACTUAL SWITCH CONTACTS-? if everything else is working - or the module related to the roof
